Community Outreach & Public Involvement
Meaningful communication with public and stakeholder groups is one area that sets us apart. Our landscape architects, engineers, and planners regularly present project plans, study results, and associated impacts in a host of various forums. Our staff is well versed at presenting comfortably in small venues such as a suburban land use commission meetings, as well as larger community redevelopment public informational venues.
Public participation is a process that needs to be designed purposefully in order to engage those who need to be involved to effectively make a policy into a success. We understand that a projects success is often times tied directly to the support of those constituencies. To that end, we prepare presentations that allow us to describe our technical work in language that the general public can understand. Our team has the ability to efficiently facilitate the public participation process and build consensus through a well conceived and comprehensive public involvement plan. We utilize digital media (web-based) as a key tool in obtaining community input, distribution of documents, meeting programming and the exchange of content, nearly instantaneously.
