Post Irene Flood Recovery Continues

Milone & MacBroom, Inc. is working with the Town of Bennington, Vermont on recovery efforts from Tropical Storm Irene.  More than 500,000 cubic yards of sediment was  deposited over several miles leading to channel movement and bank erosion.  Sediment filled bridges, buildings and infrastructure were destroyed, and a levee was eroded.  This work includes river corridor assessment, managing the bid process, and planning for future work. This will help the town prioritize recovery efforts and assist them in seeking finanical reimbursement through FEMA, FHWA, and others.
