About Eric
Eric, Manager of Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Services, has extensive expertise in subsoil investigations and foundation design, including field investigations for geotechnical and dam projects. He has 32 years of dam engineering experience throughout New England, having been involved in nearly 100 projects varying in size and complexity. His experience includes stone masonry, concrete, earth embankment, and arch dams, and his services have covered all aspects of impoundment structure projects and related appurtenant structures.
His experience also includes bridge, landfill projects, slope stability analysis and design, vertical and horizontal bearing capacity analysis for both shallow and deep foundation systems, design of ground improvement methods, seepage analysis and subdrainage design, soil laboratory testing, testing of soil improvement methods and field inspections and testing.
Eric has performed numerous hydrogeologic investigations, environmental site assessments, and remedial designs for soil and groundwater projects, including computer modeling of contaminant transport plumes in porous and fractured media, with coordination with various state and federal regulatory agencies, remediation planning and execution, and monitoring, testing and inspection.
Expertise
Eric holds the Professional Degree of Engineer from George Washington University, a M.S. in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clarkson College of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont, as well as Licensed Environmental Professional in Connecticut and Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts.
