About David
David is the resilience lead at MMI. He oversees two areas of practice at the firm: hazard mitigation and coastal resilience planning and water supply planning. His hazard mitigation and coastal resilience practice includes hazard mitigation planning, flood mitigation planning, coastal planning, sea level rise planning, living shoreline and green/gray coastal design, development of hazard mitigation grant applications, FEMA benefit cost analysis, and FEMA Community Rating System services. His water supply planning practice includes water supply master planning, water supply development, water supply permitting, water resource protection, aquifer protection, water system vulnerability assessment and emergency response planning, instream flow studies, and compliance with minimum streamflow standards.
Expertise
David, with a B.S. in Geological Sciences from Cornell University and an M.S. in Hydrology from the University of Arizona, provides support to the full spectrum of projects administered in the firm’s Water Resources Engineering Group. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Connecticut and Certified Floodplain Manager.
