Senior Geotechnical Manager

About Joe

Joe, a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in the firm’s Geotechnical department, had an interest in building things from an early age. After several years in residential construction, he decided to make the switch to civil engineering and more specifically geotechnical engineering. He brings to MMI nearly 25 years of geotechnical experience, having worked with Federal and State Highway Agencies and as a geotechnical consultant. He has extensive experience with geotechnical site characterizations, earth retaining structures, construction drilling, deep foundations, and geotechnical instrumentation. He most enjoys assisting clients with challenging projects while being part of a cohesive team.

Joe holds an M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont and has completed DFI/FQA Certification for Dynamic Pile Testing.
