About Marie

Marie is a Geotechnical Engineer with experience in geotechnical design, borings, subsurface exploration, earthwork and foundation specifications, and construction-phase services for bridge, building, and retaining wall foundations as well as roadways. Her day to day includes organizing subsurface explorations; gathering, reducing, and writing reports summarizing the data; and providing recommendations that best suit the soils of the site for the construction proposed. Marie, who comes from a family of engineers, also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven, advising civil engineering students through their senior design courses, and as a part-time fitness coach.


Marie is a licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of New Haven. Her certifications and memberships include:
