About Mark
Mark joined MMI over 20 years ago, influenced by a lifelong interest in art and design that led him to pursue a career as a landscape architect. As a Vice President of the firm, he is responsible for project development and management of design, coordination, specifications, cost estimates, construction documents, and permit applications for various projects across New England. His practice includes the design of greenways, streetscapes, passive and active parks, environmental restorations, recreational facilities, athletic facilities, urban redevelopment and revitalization's, and commercial site developments. Mark, who also oversees the firm's Springfield office, finds watching designs come to life as construction starts and progresses to completion to be one of the most satisfying aspects of his job. Recent accomplishments include his appointment to the Connecticut State Board of Landscape Architects and election to the CLARB National Committee on Nominations, and he's been published in several magazines, most recently in the June 2017 issue of Civil Engineering magazine with his article, "Green Guardian," co-authored by colleague Jim MacBroom, PE, about the award-winning Meriden Green project.
