What we faced
The high school athletic facilities were past their life expectancy and in dire need of reconstruction in order to improve player safety, expand physical education programs, and provide a venue to meet current standards for scholastic athletic competition.
The result
Due to the project's size, including the complete renovation of the locker and team room facilities, the project adhered to the MGL Chapter 149 bidding requirements, and was completed within budget. The reconstructed athletic facility is a true testament to the collaboration of the design team of landscape architects, engineers, planners and the community.

Six new post-tensioned concrete tennis courts with basketball accommodations
New multi-use natural grass athletic fields & irrigation
New stadium scoreboard and sound system
New ticketing / concession / restroom / satellite trainers' room & three-bay storage facility
New synthetic track
New girls' softball field, dugouts & scoreboard
New 1,500-seat bleacher system with two-story press box
New accessible parking, decorative site lighting & entrance
